Greetings,
I need to create a reusable document (template) with suvey questions
that have text options (check boxes or drop down menus) and then be able
to print out a customized report based on the survey responses.
Eventually I would like to do this interview survey and report
generation via a tablet PC. How can I do this with OpenOffice?
Thanks,

As it looks like you are not subscribed to the list, I will respond to you directly and to the list.

This looks like that perfect thing that databases are designed for. Someone else may be able to respond better but "Base" in OOo 2.0 beta my be exactly what you are looking for. I have not used Base so I am not sure.

As a database, you can do "queries" for the data you are looking for and have input forms for the various documents. Custom reports can then be generated from this data.

I have done it in the past with Paradox (Corel/Borland) but I haven't done any in Access or Base.
