Hi,
i think this must be a problem of SuSE's/Ximian's OpenOffice.org port as
the generic OpenOffice.org does not use kfilepicker as far as i know. In
that case you should raise a bug report with them (SuSE).
Just my 2 cents, pl

Hi,
after working fine for a few months I have now the following problem with
OpenOffice 1.1.3 under SUSELinux 9.2 with the KDE Desktop (I have added a
few programs):
First sign of the problem was, that I tried to start OpenOffice and got the
message, that there would be a ressource conflict; OO started well after
hitting the 'ignore' button, but crashed when I tried to save the file I
had worked with the 'save as' button. The KDE "crash manager" says that
kdefilepicker crashed and gives the attached reports (1 = logged in as
user, 2 =logged in as root).
Opening an existing file also gives the same crash, but works fine when I
go to the file and open it with the "open with" option. I can then save it
normally, but again, when I use "save as", it crashes.
Removing the new programs didn't help (there are still a lot of new
libraries I had to install which I didn't remove) nor did the new
installation of OpenOffice.
Thanks for Your help
