I just remembered that I asked this question last Fall. This is a known issue prior to 2.0, but I don't know if 2.0 keeps the format when saving to ASCII text or not. I don't remember the work around. I still have the e-mails. There's a reference to changing the locale, but to what? Anyway, this might be a great time for me to play with Python's regexp. ;) Oh well. Sorry to waste anyone's time.
