Hello,
When I installed "Open Office" I did not realize it would not be
listed in the Windows Install/Uninstall program. I have been trying
to uninstall the "Open Office" program and am having considerable
difficulty!
It would be appreciated if someone would please offer a solution to
my problem.
Thank you in advance,
OOo is now and always has been listed in the Add/Remove Programs list in
Win98, at least on my computer. That statement applies to the beta
candidates as well as the stable release(s). I can't speak for later
releases of M$Windows, but it's safe to speculate that statement holds
true for the later releases, too, IF the installation instructions that
are bundled with each release were followed.
For the Version 2 Beta Candidates, run the installation program again.
One of the options that will be presented is "Remove Program."
For OOo 1.1.4, in ~/Program Files/OpenOffice.org1.1.4, locate the
program named setup.exe. Run this to get to the Remove Program menu item.
