That sounds like a possible idea, but when I use Insert >

have to install 1.1.5, although I was waiting for a settled version 2.0.
I can scan to Notepad and then copy and paste, but that's so inelegant.

Friends, I have a hand scanner, the QuickLink Pen from WizComTech, which
is intended to scan text into MS Word, among other MS products, I can
scan into WordPad, WordPerfect 10, and NoteTab Lite, but not into
OpenOffice.org 1.1.0. Will an upgrade help my problem? Will 2.0 fix it?
or Is there some setting I haven't discovered which would solve it?
Thanks
Have you selected the scanner before trying to scan? Please use Insert >

do this but not otherwise.
