My stats: OO 1.1.4, XP

Folks,

I'm wondering how different folks approach this task:

Writing a business letter, I want to then quickly print an envelope using the address on the letter. In M$Word, user can simply choose a menu tool called Envelopes/Labels. M$Word grabs the address, puts it in a "field" of some sort, then gives you a bunch of printing options, such as label format (a bunch of Avery, ability to create your own custom labels, etc.), font format, return address, etc. Select the criteria you want, then click print.

I've tried doing something simple with OO but haven't come up with any REALLY simple approaches. Mostly I copy the address lines, open a new label document, paste the lines and print. Not bad, but it's a lot of extra steps and I'm having a heck of a time creating a custom label that fits my specific case (label is 5.75" wide x 3" high, 1 column, tractor feed continuous, but easy to break into sheets with 4 labels, 12" high).

Do any of you know the M$Word feature I'm talking about? If so, how do you do something similar? Can I create a custom label that is either 5.75" wide continuous or is 5.75" w x 12" h, 1 column 4 labels?

Thanks so much.
