FYI Daniel,
There is a version of OO that runs on the on OS X native. It's called
NeoOffice/J and you can find it at:
http://www.neooffice.org/ It is based on OpenOffice version 1.1.4 and
seems to run quite well.

I recently installed Open Office (no version # on disc) on my
Virtual PC - Windows 98 (The host is an E-Mac running OS 10.3
Panther). This was a virgin disk purchased directly from Titan Media.
It works as advertised EXCEPT that when I export (e-mail) a document
out of Writer to another PC, it opens up in Word as unreadable
goobledegook. I can import Word documents, open and edit them, I just
can't send them in the other direction. As an experiment, I dragged
and dropped a Writer document onto Word Pad on my Windows 98 desktop,
and it opened up with the exact same computer language I get when I
export to another PC. Documents in Word Pad export just fine, so It
isn't the Virtual PC thing. What gives? Any and all help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.
