To do this while viewing the confirmation email, click the Reply button of your email client and then the Send button for the resulting email. This process takes some patience as the confirmation email is not always sent immediately. I was on vacation for a couple of weeks earlier this summer. When I unsubscribed from this list, it took a day or so to receive the confirmation email.
