I can't seem to use Open Office to view comments that were created in
a Microsoft Word document (using Insert>Comment).
I'm having much difficulty finding an answer to this online or in the
documentation. the closet thing I found was to insert note in Open
Office (in which case the notes are viewable in Word). Or when I did a
search in Open Office's help, it talked about Edit>changes, but
'comments' is grayed out.
Would appreciate any help, even if its a confirmation that Open Office
cannot view comments initially created in Word.
I believe that in OpenOffice, the comments are viewed as notes. In OOo,
this is Insert | Notes to add them. You will see them in your document
as little yellow squares that you can double click on them. While you
are viewing a note, you can jump between them. Off hand, I do not know
how to find them without double clicking on the yellow box.
