Hi Nathan,

If you right-click on a page number, then select Fields from the context
menu, you should be able to enter a value into the Offset field.

Offset has a different purpose. So it's not the right thing to use here. For starting a file with a page number different from 1 do this:

http://documentation.openoffice.org/faqs/word_processing/044.html

at any number. For example, file "one" would have pages 1-30 and
file "2"
would have pages 31-60 and so forth....

Thank you very much, that saved mytime for my write up, and I needed it... I've been through this FAQ but I never bothered about this question because I quite don't understand what it does (and that's how I remember things...). If you know about it, could you explain me? or if anyone else does...
Thank you again for this answer...

And OOo 1.9 rocks really

Alex
