Btw, there are problems with certain Trendware firewall-routers,
specially with win xp clients. But these problems are also with ircnet.
(Router resets itself at ident request).
i don't have such a problem with ircnet and other networks - this is the
first time i am unable to connect to a server
maybe we could create a general puprose channel #openoffice.org on,
for example, ircnet - that could be more visible channel and could be
used as both users chat and a redirector for harder questions to
api/dev etc
In IrcNET a channel needs much more care not to be attacked.
well, maybe this care would be worth it if we could get it running ?
very often i find some nifty issue or have a quick question where
moderatly populated irch channel would be a very nice thing to have.
