I have been able to use Pegasus successfully to send mail from within OO.org by running the application Pmapi.exe, which is placed in the Pegasus execution directory. Choosing the simple MAPI results in Pegasus being the destination for the Send|a mail message. Note that this thoroughly screws up other MAPI applications, including Outlook, and some FAX applications.
