[users] Left over from install

As I install the new releases of Open Office I am left with one file of each 
in /opt/. I have a 1.9 which has "help, licenses, presets, program & share" 
1.9.121 which has "program/python, and python-core". 1.9.122 which has 
the same, and then the latest which is my 1.9.123 install. Can I delete the 
older files? Are the left from the .deb install? Thank You.
