Actually Outlook has issues with smime pgp signing. It is a known issue, some mailers Such as evolution have an option to enable support for outlook smime signing. (It's not just for pgp keys its used for secure attachment style data). Outlook also can't deal with meeting request style e-mails comming back signed...
