I have user_guide_draft OO V2.pdf and am reading it in conjunction with OO Writer 1.9.122, which describes itself as 2 Beta.

I find a number of small inconsistencies and wonder whether I have the right pair of documents.

For example, the Guide refers to a Main toolbar at the right hand side but my OO version doesn't have a main toolbar and there is no reference to "main" in the Help index.

I would appreciate your advice.

Yes, you have the right documents, but as you are aware both are still
under development (ie. draft, beta), so there are bound to be a few
things still to be corrected and/or finalized. Part of the reason drafts
and betas are released, is that as many people as possible have the
opportunity to check, test and report back to the writers and developers
on any errors and bugs they find (or think they have found).

The terminology should be "Standard" not "Main". Toolbars are
configurable and can appear on any side of the application window, or
floating, if that is your preference.

A regular contributor to this list (G. Roderick Singleton) is one of the
documentation project leads and I feel sure he would welcome someone
with a keen eye for detail (like yourself) contributing to the project.

Dave,

Thanks for this. G. R. Singleton is the name given on the document for reporting errors.
My message was directed to him.

That link permits one to query the database but covers issues reported years ago. My interest
is with the Beta documentation.

I find no links which allows me to report a bug, if that's the right word for a documentation error.
