I have been experimenting with a MySQL (4.1.12) database hosted on a Windows
2000 machine. I have been accessing it without problem using Navicat from a
Fedora 2 machine. Yesterday I downloaded and installed OO 1.9.122. No problems
accessing the database. As of yet, I have only created a few fields, but some of
the integer fields show up in the tables in OO with the number 429496729. They
are normal integers in the Navicat tables. There seems to be a pattern of sorts
in that the number in the OO tables increases every few increments of the
integer in the Navicat table. In other words if I input 0 in Navicat, OO shows
429496729. If I input 4 in Navicat, OO shows 429496730. It goes like this:
Navicat OO
0 - 3 429496729
4 - 13 429496730
14 - 23 429496731
24 - 33 429496732
The question is why? These are normal INT fields, 4 digits long, no decimals.
And not all INT fields show this behavior. Other field types appear normal. Has
anyone seen this behavior?
