There is a newer format being used in the beta 2.0 (actually called
1.9.x). The 1.1.5 revesion of OpenOffice will understand these
formats, but last I checked, it is only "almost" ready.

So you can do what many have done (I've haven't seen complaints of
"beta" issues), download and install the latest 1.9.x code.
