I think that the OOo developers would be interested in his feedback - 
especially as it may only be one or two functions which really take so long.
Besides this, if you have your own macros to port, obviously you should make 
your own tests.

This has been mentioned several times, but no one has stepped up to help with 
this issue. The developers are working on the core project and *do* need help 
- triaging bugs, documentation, and writing code.
