yes, i can see target in hyperlink toolbar, but i could not find any way
to search them (manually going through a lot of hyperlinks isn't exactly
an option..)
i guess i'll think of possible options & file an issue then :)

In this way the relevant developers will see your bug report / suggestion and
you will also see the progress of this feature / bug report if it is
accepted.
As to your problem, you may have to write a small macro to do the search for
you. For more info have a look at either http://pitonyak.org or
http://documentation.openoffice.org.
Have tried using the Hyperlink toolbar? View > Toolbars > Hyperlink
Select the link you wish to check and you will see the target.
