IT WORKED!!!! IT WORKED!!!!  I reinstalled and "repaired"... was  missing 
components and unfortunately, open office still didn't work (wouldnt  even 
allow 
me to send the "error message" BUT great news cuz I was then able to  delete 
it completely off my system from Add/Remove programs!!!!  And I have  now 
installed a better version from the site which actually WORKS!!!!
