Not sure who moderates this list, but has their been consideration for putting this link in the footer of every message? (the way the 'To unsubscribe' and 'For additional commands' links are there) - at least a link to the main FAQ.
I know how common it is for the same question to get asked repeatedly on mailings lists and forums (it's to be expected), but this specific one comes up so often it seems like a change may be in order. Whether that is with the list or with the installation and/or help file of OOo, I don't know.
Although, if nothing else, it does demonstrate what an unbelievably patient group of people participate on this list.
