Yes, 1.1.4 does have a similar drag and drop COPY functionality as Excell: Highlight the contents of the cell by selecting the cell and then double clicking the cell TWICE. Hold the Control key down while dragging and dropping.

Thanks Dan. That's OK for a single cell, but a heck of a lot of clicks.
How about copying a range of cells? Looks like a RFE.

Dave

Select the range of cells by dragging across them so they have a black background. Point at the cells (anywhere in the range) with the cursor and start to drag them.
A black rectangle shows where the cells will be dropped.
Before dropping (releasing the mouse button), hold down the control key. The "drop" will copy the cells rather than moving them.

I can't see that there are any more clicks involved than in any "other" spreadsheet?

This works for a single cell as well, except that to select it you have to drag across at least two cells and then back to make the selection a single cell. [I had always thought this was a defect, but I see somebody else in this thread says it is deliberate behaviour to avoid moving single cells accidentally - I can see that point of view.]

Hope this helps

Andy
