Hi Slih,
no idea:
windows will put the lock-sign into the date of the file,
linux will never ever accept this, because this would mean, that time synchronisation on linux servers would become impossible (and it is, by fact, impossible on windoof machines) So I think, MS have to change their policy here. (They know, as this is a real problem with shared databases, but they didn't act yet.)

greetings, Heinrich

This problem occure only on linux machine that open file at the same time with
windows machine on smb mount share. The problem is that when one windows client open a shared on windows server documet file the file seems to be locked, but only for other windows clients, the linux clients can open this file at the same time as read/write, and after that when we try to save the file we get a
"General input/output error saving file..." error, even when we close the file
on both machines and reopen only on linux we can´t save the file and get the
same error. I try this thing on version 1.1.3, 1.1.4,2.0b1 and 2.0b2, the problem exist :(
Any ideas ?
