Hallo everybody, I do use 2.0 beta the version that ends with 1.... 79. I do convert files that were written in OOwriter, and either stored as .odt or .doc for Microsoft winword 97/XP. It doesn´t matter when I convert it to a PDF -file wether it was saved as .doc or .odt. The conversion looks O.K. It opens on my computer with Acrobat Reader 7.0 or with Acrobat reader 6.0 without a problem, but when I send this PDF file to people it seems the two of my friends that have apple computers independently report, that they cannot open my mail, the attachement seems to cause apples "mail" programm to shut down. The other apple user ( a grafik design office) that received these attachements reported that he was able to open the file by using Quark express. As I can open these files - I have no clue what happens here, but it was with all the conversions since the new Open Office reported to me that my PDF´s are only occassionally O.K. .
