All I have read so far about NeoOffice/J says it is for Mac OSX,
but if it is written in Java wouldn't it be platform independent?
That is, couldn't it run on any platform with a JVM?
I would like to try it.
Hi Dale and a hello to the list,
I don't see that this would make any sense, since NeoOffice just has the
very same functionality as Openoffice.org.
Gruesse, Pablo (using NeoOffice/J with Mac OS X and OpenOffice.org with
Linux)
While OOo is available for many platforms, it is not available
for ALL platforms. I would like to try to run NeoOffice/J on
OS/2. The OS/2 port of OOo never got off the ground. There is
a German company who made the Windows version run in OS/2 with
a code converter similar to WINE. It's called Odin, but it is
not free. OS/2 users are the only ones who have to pay to use
OOo.
