The problem is that I can create these documents, print them without problems, not change anything on them, but the next time I open the same document, without having made any alterations, I suddenly get blank areas in some spots of the document."
Just to fill you in that I found a way round to cheat. After having learned this morning that OO documents can be exported as PDF's, I did that and can now print them out without blank spaces. I tried before to save it as a star draw document (not that I would have a clue what the difference is) and still got blank spaces. (Interestingly, if I close the document and re-open, the blank area appear in different areas, but always in the lower half of the document.) I hope this might help somebody with similar problems to at least get by in a different way. Billa
