Do a search for this file: OOo_1.1.4_Win32Intel_install.zip. This is
the file you downloaded.
When you find the file, double click it to extract it. Write down the
folder name to which it is extracted. Using Windows Explorer, enter
that folder and locate setup_guide.pdf. (It is at the bottom of the
list of files in the folder.) This file explains how to set up OOo on
your computer. (The section for a window's installation is the only
part you need to read.) Pay close attention to what is written on page
27. In fact, I would suggest you have setup_guide.pdf open while you
install OOo 1.1.4. That way you can refer to it as the installation
proceeds.
