If my memory serves me right, isn't t-bird's AB in ldap? As to using the
spreadsheet I do not see why not. Doing this kind of thing should be
similar to what is described in
http://documentation.openoffice.org/HOW_TO/word_processing/WordToCalc-HowTo0101_EN2-1.pdf
