I am using OpenOffice version 109 on an NT box. I have a .doc file that
I saved as .odt so that I could work on it in OpenOffice, and have spent
the time since reformatting so that things looked the way they did
before the conversion. The biggest issue I'm having is the load time is
quite long. I think its related to the many Visio images I have in the
document. If you watch the task manager you will see that a separate
instance of Visio is created for each Visio image in the document. Is
there someway to prevent this? I have tried toying around with the
memory options for graphics as was suggested in previous posts but it
didn't help. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank
you,

Robert
