Thanks. I did get the header to change using your help, but I see problems with the existing method. I have to insert a Page Break to effect a header change. Fair enough. But the page break is invisible and cannot be made visible. As I type on page 1, the break on page 2 is pushed forward, presumably by the number of times I hit the Enter key, but maybe by the sheer volume of text, so that the header on page 2 is changed to that on page 1. And now I've got a page break _somewhere_ in the middle of page 2?
