It looks better now but I still have the "Illustration :" text which I don't want. In the meantime I generated an equation (tipping "fn" and F3), edited the equation, made a copy of it (Cntrl v), pasted it to the apporpriate place (Cntrl p) and deleted the table generated by "fn + F3". But I don't believe that this is the best way. I also get some unnatural space between the text and the equation.

Right click on the frame and make sure:

1. Wrap is set to "Page Wrap"; and
2. Anchor is set to 'character'.

Hello

I just wanted to add an equation within a line of text using Insert -> Object -> Formula of Openoffice Version 2 beta. Unfortunately this formula is "somehow" embedded in a Frame and I always have some Text ("Illustration :") directly below the formula. For example c * t looks about like

    c * t
       I
       l
       l
       u
       s
       t
       a
       t
       i
       o
       n
              :

Does anybody knows how to suppres this ?

Thank's for any help

    Pedro
