I, too, find fonts on Linux to be beyond confusing...

I THINK part of the answer is that you have to run the OOo printer setup to tell OOo to use whatever fonts you have on your system.

.....Just tried it with 1.1.2---(the command is spadmin.bin)---no fonts settings. 1.9.xxx has fonts in the printer admin. Don't know about 1.1.4
