Thanks, I think we crossed paths in the mailbox somewhere. ;-) The solution that I provided earlier makes a mailing list that is: Two pages long Printint Two copies For a total of FOUR pages printed. (get it?) Now what I'm hoping is that you can follow exactly the steps that I outlined - and tell me if anything happens differently for you. Otherwise - you oughta have that multi-paged list of addresses that you need. Or, maybe I'm still misunderstanding. I'll attach the email below: ----------------Original Message From James----------------------- Hi Beth, After installing a fresh copy of OpenOffice 1.1.5 on a Windows XP Home computer, I am unable to duplicate your error. Which makes this the worst kind of problem. But let's walk through this by the numbers to make sure that we're talking about the same error. Follow through step by step and tell me where your experience differs from mine. Also, if you are not succesfull here - try using a different printer - just to be sure that it isn't a PRINTER issue. Start->OpenOffice 1.5->Text Document opens oOfice File->New->Labels Labels Tab Label text: <bibliography.biblio.0.Author> <bibliography.biblio.0.Address> Format: Sheet Brand: Avery Letter Size Type: 5395 Nambe Badge-White Options Tab: Distribute: Entire page Synchronize contents: Yes Close dialog by pressing the New Document button Document now shows 8 labels with no data in them - just the fields. Tools->Mail Merge... From this document: yes Close dialog by pressing the OK button Mail Merge dialog opens. Records: All Output: Printer Close dialog by pressing the OK button The Print dialog will vary from printer to printer. But by now if there is a problem, it's likely with the printer driver. Here are the settings that I chose for my HP Deskjet 1200: Pring range: All Print to file: No Number of copies: 2 (just for fun) Collate: Yes (just for more fun) Press OK to start print job. Now the DOCUMENT itself shows Page 1 / 1. But the printer spits out 2 copies of a 2-page set of mailing labels. Which is what I was looking for. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If this works, then we can move on to seeing if the problem isn't maybe in your address database or something less obvious.
