I couldn't find any information on this topic in either the new or old FAQs at user-faq.OO.org, so I am forwarding my request here, since I couldn't figure how to add a new FAQ entry.
In Writer 1.9.125, when selecting table border line styles (Table -> Table Properties -> Borders -> Line -> Style), there are 18 pre-defined line styles for tables. How are new styles created? I would like to define a custom table border with a custom weight, number of lines, etc. There exists a user interface in (Format -> Object -> Line -> Line Styles) that appears to allow for customization of a _subset_ of these attributes, but these custom line styles are not available for tables, only for Drawing Object lines. More specifically, there was a table border line style in OOo Writer 1.1.4 that I would like to produce in 1.9.125. This line style is no longer available as a selection, and if an OOs 1.1.4 document with this line style is imported into 1.9.125, the line style is simply replaced with a similar one rather than being imported.
