Hello dear Nikunj,
i have had the same problem - as some other users of OOo under Win XP.
For me i see no solution at the first time. But with patient it works now -
without any modification by myself!
Just wait the long time it takes until the document is opened by OOo, make
some action (click around, open a Menu) and be patient until OOo reacts to
this - can also take minutes.
After that this works her on me PC.
If not, repeat installation after deinstall OOo and/or read install guide.
Anote: For Future: Please use a new e-mail for a new question and do not
simply reply an existing e-mail of the mailing list.
Regards
Stefan

Hi,
How to use Advanced filter function in Openoffice calc?
Verify the below mentioned contents : In that,
If I have to Filter the "Item" Which has "A"
Note : Some "item" has "Aa", that also has to be filtered.
How can i use this filter function in this case?

Re: [users] [moderated]
I'm assuming that you are meaning the function of filtering (auto, standard
and advanced filtering) within Calc.
You can use regular expressions (which will allow you to do what you want)
by selecting the 'more' option after choosing advanced filtering. More
assistance on regular expressions that may assist can be found in the
inbuilt help files.
Check them out.
