I have a file, in .dbf format, which is too long for the scalc program. All I can get is 32,000 rows.

I have been unable to open it in sbase.

I get the error message,

What driver is being referred to here?

Which OS and which release of OOo? Still need to know these things
before we can help. As to the driver, I will guess the dBase SBDC
driver but ...

As to OOo crashing when it is forced to swap too much doesn't surprize
me. I had similar problems with the user guide until I tweaked the
memory settings. What clued me to this was the number of images in the
document.

Sorry, I guess I was in a bit of a hurry, and I thought I'd mentioned that.

I'm using 2.0 beta on Mandrake 10.0
