Nope, running tasks are running tasks. My feeling is the problems you are having with the computer in general are fouling up the running of OO.o. The window is not getting opened. To hard to see more in this crystal ball. If it was linux i'd say run it in a terminal and report any errors you get back. Is there a DOS ewquivalent anyone?
