OOo that you are using is a Beta version... a test version, not fully ready for production. It is better for you to register yourself and post your suggestion/recommendation/report to the development side i.e. http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/TLogin . Especially if the feature was there in the stable version (1.5) but it is not there now in the Beta version.
OOo developers are doing a very good job for free here... no charge for downloads or for OOo software license itself. So posting here would do them (or you) no good. They are so busy, they would not have time to check for the user list. But I must say, I am grateful... no confusing license to think about like the competing products. Since the feature you want does not exist the version, perhaps for the time being, it is more suitable to ask the users of this list to help you create a macro to auto-save your document every 5 minutes. Help please, anyone? Good day! regards, Joe -----Original Message----- From: news [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Alexander Antoniades Sent: Tuesday, 27 September, 2005 13:12 To: [email protected] Subject: [users] Autosave in OOo2? I'm using OOo2 build 1.9.125.1.2 on OpenSuse 10 RC1 and I can't seem to find the autosave feature under the save settings. Instead all there is, is AutoRecover, which doesn't seem to be the same thing. The help doesn't mention either feature, I would like the documents I'm working on to be saved every 5 minutes, does this feature still exist?
