Absolutely no criticism of the guides intended: my observation was that
I found no trace of the acronym 'WebDAV' in either the Help files, or
the Guides.
Just for the record, the little bit on webdav is in the TOC on page xxv
and on page 393 or 394 of

Mea culpa. I should have used the adjective, "relevant" and clarified
the context as being that of the original poster's question.
