Ooops - my apologies, I failed to edit the subject line properly...

It doesn't matter if you change the subject line.  Most email
clients, if set to display emails in threads, will group the
message with the one you reply to, even if the subject is
different.  Many people don't have their incoming messages
sorted in threads so they never realize this.
