I'm not quite sure what you mean by printing it from
openoffice.org<http://openoffice.org>,
I thought you might mean there is a way to generate printable formulas
online, but I couldn't find any such thing on the website. But I did find a
good work around, which probably works better than using the formula editor
itself. If I create a word document, I can insert a formula into it, which
gives me more control over the location, size, font, etc. and allows me to
include the formula in other documents. Exporting this to pdf works like a
charm.
