[users] cannot edit hyperlinks (ooexpress 1.1 and 2)

I cannot select hyperlinks for editing in ooexpress. When I click on 
them the link is executed. I have tried right click, middle click, alt 
click, shift click, etc. I need to delete one and I can't figure out how 
to do it. I am using ubuntu Hoary (Gnome) and I have tried OpenOffice 
1.1 and 2 and have had this same problem in both.
