There is a new spelling checker engine -- written by a hungarian -- which is meant to be much better with compound words. There is a module available for OOo -- google "hunspell" -- but I have not dared install or test it myself. Swedish is a sufficiently regular language that spell-checking rules should be quite easy to formalise. My understanding of hunspell is that if "skomakare", "låda", and "handtag" are all in the dictionary, as they should be, it ought to recognise the compound word. -- Andrew Brown The email in the header does not work.
