But while it's ignoring multiple prefixes can Pegasus at the same time break threading when the subject changes? In the effort to tidy up the newsgroup, there's the rub. Some mailers/newsreaders can. Dialog cannot not, natively anyway. I'm beginning to think, though, that the multiplying of prefixes is due to the mail-news gateway at gmane.org. Today I noticed a post from a Mozilla client do it, and I don't think that's native to the client. More weight toward adding a proxy utility that will make the necessary corrections.
