Not really - if his install got screwed up, as his claims would make it
appear, and *EVERY TIME* he tries to open OOo it nags him to register, then,
yes, paying for a program that "just works" would make sense.
You're right. I mis-read the OP. I can see the problem if the message
pops up every time he starts the program.
