I had a similar problem with 1.1.5 under Linux. I found that the installer had not appended the 1.1.5 Basic libraries and the 1.1.4 libraries were still listed in the Macro organizer. You can use the Macro Organizer (Tools/Macros/Macro) to delete the old libraries and append the new ones. On my system, the new libraries are in /opt/OpenOffice.org1.1.5/share/basic. When you use the menu command, you may get a lot of error messages about the 1.1.4 libraries - that's what was happening in my case.
