Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org Base > Databases. This will give you a 
list of the databases that are registered with OOo. If you do not want 
OOo to open these databases, highlight each database and use the Delete 
button. If you no longer want that database at all, then delete the 
database file.
     It takes two steps: one to tell OOo to ignore the database, and one 
to remove the file from the hard drive.
