A 30Mb file will certainly chew up resources. I suspect that you do not
have sufficient swap space and this is slowing things down. With 128Mb
of RAM, I would suggest that you have at least 512Mb of swap. You can
also adjust OOo's memory usage in Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org >
Memory. Better would be to get some more RAM, locally in Toronto,
Ontario, prices are quite good. (e.g.
http://factorydirect.ca/catalog/category_list.php?cat=RAMC ) and should
be similar where ever you are located.
