I appreciate the less masochistic approach (I know reading the User
Guide would be better -- but much of it was not written with my lack of
understanding in mind; then too, I only have so many years left);
Someone gave this alternative earlier:
Open a new Default Text; Set up that page by hand as preferred;
Go to File > Templates > Save;
Left click the pane with Default; then OK;
Go to File > Templates > Organize;
Dbl L click My Templates;
Highlight Default > right click > L click Set As Default;
Close.
This seems to set my Default Templates in proper fashion, and I thank
whoever suggested it earlier..
