You must save in the report edit view AND in the database view! I don't know 
why, but is the only thing that edit reports work.

Be careful, there are two headers, The first page header and the default 
header. These two headers are controlled by the header styles named "First 
Page" and "default".

If you change the default header setting (putting and image for example) but 
your report don't use it, you never will see the image in the header because 
your header is the First Page Style that you don't have modified in the first 
place.

Is the only thing that I've noticed and could be the causes of your troubles, 
perhaps not.

Same here. I think that you are applying the modifications in one style that is 
not the default. This happend in a dynamic report because you only see the 
first occurrence of the report. Then for modifying the next occurrences you 
need to play with table settings.

I think I haven't explained very well, sorry if it's the case.
